Nagaland is a mountainous state in northeast India,  bordering Myanmar, known for its diverse indigenous tribes and vibrant culture. With its stunning  landscapes, unique festivals, and delicious food. The city is a cultural hub, hosting the famous Hornbill Festival, which showcases Nagaland’s rich tribal heritage. The arrival of spring in the first week of April is celebrated with the Aoling festival by the Konyak Nagas. The festival continues for six days and the first day of the festival is recognized as the Konyak New Year. During the festival, the members of the tribe perform rituals such as animal sacrifice, dances, feasts and cleanliness drives around the village.
